Serving the Kingdom

King of Kings Ministries International has a vision and calling much wider than planting a single church or even a movement of branch churches. King of Kings Ministries International exists to serve the Kingdom of God throughout the west of Uganda and beyond. Practically this means that the staff and people of King of Kings are willing to undertake things that may not appear to have direct benefit for the ministry or church itself but have a wider impact in the Kingdom of God.

One example of this is the School of Advanced Leadership Training (SALT School). In partnership with Light to the Nations Ministries of Australia, King of Kings Ministries have facilitated this strategy to offer practical leadership and ministry equipping to leaders across the spectrum of church movements in the west of Uganda. Pastors, associate pastors, evangelists and senior leaders from other towns and remote village areas come to the King of Kings campus at Kamukuzi, Mbarara for their regular training events.

SALT School is the vision and passion of Dr Gavin & Mrs Glenda Williams, founders and leaders of Light to the Nations Ministries (LttN Ministries Inc).  Dr and Mrs Williams are also part of the Apostolic Oversight of King of Kings Ministries International. The partnership between King of Kings Ministries International and LttN Ministries is a Kingdom building partnership.

Leaders participating in SALT School come to the King of Kings campus for 5 days of instruction on three occasions each year over two years. During that time they receive a carefully planned mix of personal spiritual development, Biblical insight and practical ministry equipping. After six schools, students who have satisfactorily completed the lecture schedule and practical ministry assignments are awarded the Diploma of Christian Leadership.

Two groups of students have already graduated from the SALT School program in Mbarara. Another group will graduate in August 2011. One more group is currently in session. A new school will commence in Mbarara in November 2011.

Further information of the School of Advanced Leadership Training (SALT School) is available on the LttN Ministries web site at lttnministries.org.au.
